So for DMC3 Reuben auditioned for Vergil and Daniel auditioned for Dante but Capcom choose them for the opposing roles. Apparently Daniel really wanted the Dante role since it fits his character better and Reuben's actual character is more in line with Vergil than Dante (self serious and at times rather stoic).
But if they make a Devil May Cry 6, they should get Brad Hawkins, the voice of Howling Star in Dragonaut: The Resonance and Ryan Steel in V.R. Troopers to play the new character. Reply reply
